Do you have a Finance and Accounts background (6 months to 1 year), with knowledge of Sage?

Leading Barristers Chambers needs Fees Clerk to work within a professional established team.

If you have 6-12 months Finance and Accounts experience (Legal World or Barristers an advantage) we would like to hear from you!

Reporting to the Chambers Administrator, responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that fees are collected promptly and in an appropriate manner
  • Performing general accounts tasks including processing customer/supplier invoices accurately and efficiently, posting to Sage 50, responding appropriately to customer/supplier queries
  • Identifying specific fees to be chased
  • Processing cheque and BACS payments
  • Responding to requests for copy invoices/receipts, barrister bank details etc
  • Managing petty cash including posting entries to Sage and completing monthly account reconciliation

You will have used Sage before and preferably a Legal Fees system. You will also be bright and articulate. You will receive plenty of training in this role, which will play to your strengths.
