Do you have solid experience working in a busy Press Office?  Are you looking for your next step?  If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Our client is a leading high profile independent Regulatory Body and they are looking for a new member of their Media Relations Team. 

Working at Senior Officer level you will assist the Media Relations Manager in the day to day running of the Press Office.  Your role will involve engaging with journalists and editors, leading on proactive press stories, drafting articles for senior management and coaching and briefing spokespeople for the organisation. You will also deal with reactive press enquiries, manage the Twitter account and participate in interviews.

You will need:

  • Strong experience working in a Press Office environment
  • Demonstrable experience of working with journalists, producers and editors
  • Experience drafting press releases and articles
  • A good understanding of the political landscape
