It is essential that you are punctual and arrive at the specified time for your booking. Understandably, Clients become very irritated if Temporary Staff arrive late. Please allow 15 minutes extra to find the office on the first morning of each booking. It is always advisable to carry a London street map with you.
On the first day of each new booking, please arrive in smart conventional office wear. If you find that the code is less formal, then you are welcome to dress accordingly.
Mobile phones should be switched off in working hours. Please do not make personal calls (either on your mobile or using clients phones), except in real emergencies and then only after asking permission from your supervisor.
Use of the Client’s Internet and E-mail facilities is strictly not allowed, except with specific authorisation from the Client.
Each Client has their own way of doing things. Please ask for them exactly how they like work done, e.g. layout, presentation, number of copies, etc, and ask them to double check your work at an early point to make sure you have correctly understood their instructions. If you run out of work please tell your ‘boss’ and ask for more.
If you are not well enough to work please notify us immediately, not the Client. Please ring our offices by 8.45am so that we may advise the client and make arrangements for someone else to take your place.
It is normal office practice to take an hour for lunch. Please do not work through your lunch hour unless asked to do so by your supervisor.
